Murata is claiming a miniaturisation record with ‘high-frequency’ inductors that have a 0.25 x 0.125mm footprint, and are 0.2mm tall. Officially 008004 size, and called the LQP01HQ series, they apparently have the same Q characteristics as its previous 0.4×0.2mm (01005/0402) LQP02TN range, which have Q=15, but with half the board mounting area.
