Despite an 81% jump in US EV sales last year, thanks largely to sales of Tesla’s Model 3, America’s interest in EVs is still pitifully weak, says InsideEVs. For every 50 internal combustion engined cars one EV was sold last year, giving EVs a 2.1% share of the annual 17.2 million unit light vehicle market.
